Mr. Herdman is an inventor with six United States Patents to his credit and several more pending. In addition, Mr. Herdman has won a number of national inventor awards including the prestigious 2007 Invent Now Challenge presented by the History Channel's Modern Marvel TV program.

At West Chester Lock Company, we specialize in self-rekeyable locks and master key systems for public housing facililities, businesses, rental properties, commercial properties and institutional facilities around the city and across the country.
Our operation can best be described as half locksmith shop and half machine shop. Not only do we employ the newest technology in computerized key cutting machines, we also have the ability to manufacture our own components. If it's not in stock and we can't buy it, we can usually make it.
